When I Grow Up

A poster with the words When I Grow Up, Tuesday 12 November, 2024. Featuring Kitty Flanagan, Andy Lee, Celia Pacquola and Sam Pang. Hosted by Tom Gleisner

“When I Grow Up” was the brainchild of Tom Gleisner and his wife, Mary Muirhead. The inspiration comes from their experience - as co-founders of The Learning for Life Autism Centre - of the barriers facing autistic and neurodivergent children. This year L4Life celebrates its 20th anniversary. What better time to talk about being “grown up” and celebrate this milestone.

Learning for Life's vision is for a world where all autistic and neurodivergent people can thrive and live the life they choose. We provide therapy, training and support services underpinned by best practice Applied Behaviour Analysis, and ensuring access to this service for children and families, regardless of financial or social circumstances.

Our services rely on the generosity of a community of donors, philanthropists, grant-givers, businesses, families and friends - our Learning for Life "Village". We are
particularly indebted to the entire team at Working Dog for their experience and support in putting this event together.
