What it means to be an NDIS Provider

29 May 2024

Learning for Life Autism Centre (L4Life) received a Certificate of Registration from the National Disability Insurance Agency in February 2022. As a provider who prides itself in offering best practice therapy and learning support to autistic and other neurodivergent children, it was important to our Board and team that our already high level of service and safety was endorsed by the NDIS.

As a result, families, clients and carers can be sure that as an NDIS registered provider, Learning for Life:

  • Complies with the relevant NDIS Practice Standards
  • Follows the NDIS Code of Conduct
  • Has an in-house system for complaints management and resolution; and incident management
  • Ensures staff have an NDIS Worker Screening Check and a Working with Children Check
  • Meets behaviour support requirements (for Specialist Behaviour Supports)
  • Undergoes NDIS audits
  • Complies with all conditions stated on the certificate of registration
  • Can provide services to participants with agency-managed plans

In doing so, we have been able to further improve the level of support we provide through a continual process of education, training and assessment against the NDIA quality and safety standards.
