Run Melbourne with Chloe

16 Jul 2024
We're returning to the Run Melbourne track to run, walk and raise money for neurodivergent and autistic children and their families on 21 July 2024.

As part of our 20th anniversary celebrations we're hoping for the biggest team yet.  We hope you can come along for the ride and enjoy the comaraderie that the event fosters.

Chloe Federov, L4Life Therapy Assistant

Have you taken part in Team L4Life and Run Melbourne before? If yes, how many years have you Run Melbourne?

No,  this is my first time, but have participated in races previously. I'm doing the 5km.

Are you a runner normally?

Sometimes, when I have the time and motivation!

Why are you taking part? And why are you supporting L4Life?

I enjoy partaking in activities that keep me active and fit, even more so when my participation benefits a good cause. I’m running for tTeam L4L in Run Melbourne because I care deeply about the work we do at L4L. I’ve seen first-hand the significant impact it has on the kids and their families.

Anything that can be done to help maintain and improve this important work and make it more accessible for families, I’m down for! Most of all, I’m running for the kiddos that I personally work with, along with all the other children who are part of the L4L family

How are you preparing for the event?

I’m taking part in a mixture of athletic activities including running, strength/weight training and rock climbing!

Are you running with others?

Hopefully some co-workers at L4Life!

What do people need to know about L4Life?

L4Life provides important services that support autistic and other neurodivergent children in promoting independence and choice. With the help of the work that L4Life does, these children can thrive and grow up to live the life they choose. As L4Life is a non-for-profit, donating to this cause is what makes this important work possible!

Do you have a particular fundraising or running goal? What is it?.

With one week left before the race, my fundraising goal is to reach $350 total (I’m very close!) In the race my only goal is to have fun:)
