We're excited to launch our revamped Early Intervention Consultancy service with a focus on supporting children in their transition to, and early years of, primary school.
It aligns with our commitment to early intervention and support for autistic children from the early years through to school and beyond.
The EI Consultancy builds on our EIBI Full Service Model where we support the child at kinder or other group activities, and develop school readiness skills as well as help families choose the right school for their child.
Once your child commences school, we can continue support through our EI Consultancy, assigning a L4Life Clinical Consultant and Therapists to support your child, along with school staff, parents and other members of the care team, in your child's educational, home and broader community environment.
This program is open to all school-age children with autism who have at least 12 months before they turn 9 years old.
What this means for you and your child:
- Seamless Transition: L4Life families in our EIBI Full Service Model can enjoy a smooth continuation of early intervention support from pre-school through to the early years of primary school.
- Ongoing Therapy: Your child can receive consistent early intervention therapy up to 9 years of age, supported by our L4Life Clinical Consultants and Therapy Assistants.
- Support for those with school age diagnoses: This service helps support childen and families who have been recently diagnosed as a result of behavioural concerns in the first year of school.
- Accessible Support: Families with school-age children up to 9 years old, who have been unable to access our School-Age Consultancy service and waitlist, can access school-age support through this enhanced service.
