It is with a mix of emotions that we announce Pam Roy, our CEO, will step down from her role and finish her tenure with Learning for Life this year. We will be sad to see Pam go, but we respect her decision and wish her all the best in her future endeavours.
Pam has played a key role in bringing L4Life to where it is today - 20 years on from its beginnings. It was upon Pam's work as a clinician that the foundations of L4Life were built and, even before her time at L4Life, she made a huge impact to the lives of many autistic children and their families.
Pam has led the organisation at a Board level for 20 years, as Business Manager/Clinical Consultant for 5 years and in the last 5 years as CEO. She has served our families, staff and Village leading with the kindness and compassion that L4Life is known for.
"Reflecting on the past 20 years since we started L4Life, I feel an immense sense of pride for all that we have accomplished. While bidding farewell is undoubtedly a poignant moment for me, I also embrace a sense of excitement and hope for the next chapters, both in my personal journey and the continued growth of L4Life.
I am committed to ensuring a seamless transition and will do everything within my capacity to assist in handing over responsibilities and knowledge to my successor. I have the utmost confidence in the capabilities of our team and I look forward to observing L4Life's progress from a different vantage point within our L4Life Village." Pam Roy
We have initiated a thorough search for a new CEO who will continue to steer the Learning for Life Autism Centre towards its goals. Pam will be supporting us through this transition.
During this period of change, we remain steadfast in our commitment to our clients, families, staff and extended L4Life Village, as well as to the high standards of service and excellence that define Learning for Life Autism Centre.
