A note from our Chair, Mary Muirhead OAM:
"It was a bittersweet day in June the day that Nicci, our new CEO started. We were super excited for her coming in, it really was the first day of a new chapter for L4Life. On that day 4 of our Founders gathered around the kitchen table that the origins of L4Life had been established and made this video as part of our 20th Anniversary.
Why bittersweet? Well, Pam Roy (our outgoing CEO), Mandy Sampson (Patron), Tom Gleisner (Patron) and I were reflecting on how we started, what L4Life had achieved and the next chapter.
Of course, after 2 decades this new chapter does include succession planning and as we warmly and enthusiastically welcomed Nicci, we were saying goodbye to Pam. It is a good news story though, as all the Founders will transition from such active roles over time, but will always be involved in the L4Life Village as Patrons, Founders and advisors. Pam and Tom have come off the Board now, Mary and Mandy will stay on for a little while longer as Chapter 2 of L4Life is established. We hope you enjoy our gentle reminiscences of the last 20 years and the hopes we have for L4Life’s future. A big thank you to Pressroom Philanthropy for making the video to celebrate this milestone for us!"
